BETHEL BIBLE STUDY
Encouraging One Another: Women of Faith Series
Third Tuesday of the month, 1:30 p.m. at the church
We will be continuing this series from last year. God planned ahead for all your gloomy days. In fact, He's arranged for encouragement to be right there, waiting for you to discover it. You only need to know where to look! Words of encouragement can always be found in the Bible, but He gave each of us the ability to console and encourage, as well. God is always with us, and we're all in this thing together. So let's encourage one another along the way! Are you ready to give and receive encouragement? Contact: Jan Niskanen, Bev Boyer, or Amelia Bray
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a place where women can grow in their relationship with God through studying his word, as well as benefit from the fellowship and encouragement of other women. We strive to encourage women in their faith through Bible studies, groups, special events, retreats, and conferences.
JOY BIBLE STUDY
Wednesdays, 5:15-6:15 p.m. at the church
Joy Bible Study welcomes all women interested in Bible study and fellowship. Grab dinner which is served at this time in the church and join us for a study by Nav Press. This study, entitled “The Life and Ministry of Jesus Christ” recounts the life of Christ: who He is, what He taught and things He did. It pulls together accounts from all four Gospels, in chronological order, of His life and ministry on earth. "The Messiah" examines the miracles and teachings that dramatically demonstrate Jesus' true identity. And you'll hear Jesus explain that the work of the Messiah is radically different than what most people expect. Contact: Vonnie VanDyke or Peggy Moller.
PRISCILLA BIBLE STUDY
Tuesdays at 9 a.m. at the church
Ladies, if you are looking for a place to grow in your walk with the Lord and your relationships with other Christian women, this group of ladies is for you. We will be studying "As Silver Refined” by Kay Arthur this coming year. You can be defeated by life's unavoidable disappointments, or you can become stronger because of them. Kay Arthur paints a graphic picture of the dangerous downward spiral of disappointment that can lead to discouragement, depression, or even despair. But you can learn to break that cycle and embrace disappointment with a faith that recognizes the trails of life as tools that God uses to make you—as silver refined—a reflection of His goodness. Our study begins Sept. 12 and will run throughout the school year. At 9 a.m., we begin with coffee/fellowship time. The study begins at 9:30 a.m. and runs until 11 a.m. Childcare is provided during this time at a cost of $2.50 per child. Please feel free to call for more information. Contact: Celeste Skogerboe.
PRISCILLA BIBLE STUDY TWO
Tuesdays, 9 a.m. at the church
We are the second Pricilla Group and will be studying "Loving God With All Your Mind” by Elizabeth George this coming year. In good times and bad times, knowing in your mind that God cares for you and has a plan for your life gives you the strength for what lies ahead. Best selling author and noted Bible teacher Elizabeth George reveals six powerful Scripture passages that will help you recognize and live God's purposes for your life, turn daily struggles over to God, apply God's truths to everyday life, focus on God and His principles for life, and find peace in all circumstances. Drawing on biblical wisdom and personal experience, Elizabeth provides the tools you need to handle emotions and life. By focusing on loving God, you'll experience hope, joy, and a deeper understanding of His grace. Contact: Barb Hall.
ESTHER BIBLE STUDY
Third Tuesday of the month 1 p.m. at the church
We will be studying “Growing Older and Wiser” by Dale & Sandy Larsen. This study offers a biblical perspective on aging and shows how powerfully God can use those who have grown wiser with the years. You will read about older people who should have listened to younger people and vice versa. You will find honest expressions of fear and hope as the years accumulate and death looms closer. Throughout all of these stories you will find the constancy of God. Contact: Gladys Graves.
REBECCA BIBLE STUDY
Third Tuesday of the month 5:30 p.m.
We are studying “Following Him: When I Can’t See the End of the Road” by Barbara Francis. Whether you are a new believer, a seasoned saint, or just an inquirer into the faith, this book will give you precious insights to offer direction, encouragement and hope. Many of the issues that touch our lives on a day to day basis are addressed and the exciting hope of the transforming power of God is exhibited. Looking for an evening study with a group of women meeting in homes? Consider this one. Contact:Jenny Anderson.
